Low-Cost (but still good) Photographer

I live in Cincinnati, but our wedding will be in Kennesaw.  Can anyone recommend a few good photographers that would work with a modest budget?  I'm looking for someone who would do some awesome candids and would stay away from the super cheesy posed pictures.  Any recommendations would be tremendously helpful!!

    My neighbor is an awesome photographer. Her name is Jennifer Schliestett. I'm not sure what your budget is, but for everything she's about $2500. Her website is

    Try Mike Plymale Photography.  It's a husband and wife team.  Super sweet and very affordable.

    Try Ashley & Jon with fixed focal they are  husband and wife team who do a great job.  they are shooting my wedding in november.  the cost is $895 for both of them and they gave me a special for $50 for engagment photos.  Ashley responds right away to my emails and phone calls.

    My engagement pictures are on their and another knottie's wedding photos are on there as well.

    I cant rave enough about them.  I didnt have a big budget to work with and they have exceeded my expectations for what I have paid.

    We used Kelly Embry photography. Her pictures are great and she was willing to work with our budget to make us a "custom package". Send her an email with what you are looking for and see what she can do for you.

    I used Aliaks with DOMFOTO and I highly recommend him! He does a great job and has a variety of packages to fit different budgets.  He's also very detail oriented, organized, always responds to emails quickly, and very professional.

    Ditto ALL this. They took my wedding photos, engagement photos and family photos.  They are AMAZING!  I've gotten a sneak peek of my wedding photos (can't wait for the rest)  I have some pics in my bio under Captured if you're interested.  You will not be disappointed!

    Ashley is a gem!  LOVE her!  (Jon's not so bad either - haha!)

    Im getting married in Kennesaw as well, where is your ceremony being held? The photographer that I am using is Catherine and her website is www.adoreamorephotography.com she is very sweet and prices seemed very resonable.

    I'm also using Fixed Focal (thanks bbyckes, I found them based on one of your recommendatiosns). I lovelovelove our engagement pics. I was really nervous about choosing the right photographer b/c we're not exactly photogenic people. I am completely confident that we will love our wedding photos as well.

    I have a question about Fixed Focal- do they give you the copy rights to the photographs?  Or do you have to order prints through them?  Thanks girls!

    they give you a cd with all your pictures and you can do whatever you like.  The do put them up onine through a website and you can share the link with your guests.  They can order through the website, but it is very expensive.  I took our e-pics have every picture we got printed at walgreens for $15 to put them in an album.  I also plan on uploading them and doing a photo guest book.

    Ok, so you are able to print them yourself, which was why I asked.  I can't imagine having to order all of my prints through the photographer- way too expensive for my budget!
