We met with our pastor last night and finalized things with the ceremony. I was so excited when we left church because it is all slowly starting to come together.

I shared this on a thread yesterday but the boards were kinda slow and I want to share it again. I was talking to my mom yesterday and she said she talked to my nanny (her mom) and my nanny has offered to pay for the food for the shower my SIL and mom are throwing for me in April back home. I am really appreciative of this since my SIL and mom had to step up and host the shower after the original hosts backed out of hosting it.

    Ash your nanny sounds awesome!

    We booked the honeymoon last night!!! So excited!! And now I've called the post office at least 6 times this morning trying to set up an appointment to get our passports done but the phone is busy. Its driving me insane.

    That's great ladies!

    Last night I stamped our return address on all the RSVP envelopes, and put the forever rose stamp on them.  Tonight I'm going to start stuffing invitations into the envelopes!

    We found a DJ that won't cost us a fortune!  FI knows him through some community stuff, but we didn't know he DJed until last week!

    I just approved the final copy of our invites, programs, RD invites and all inserts. It sounds like they will be printed on Friday!! WOO HOO!!

    I just made my first alterations appointment!  Today's been a not-so-great day, but that was a total pick-me-up, and the woman I've chosen to do my alterations is SO sweet and nice, she just totally made my day :)

    I also picked up 6 candelabras yesterday from a girl on my local board for centerpieces, and they're perfect, and I started addressing envelopes for the invitations yesterday!

    Chelsea, I am so excited that someone else has yet to send out their invites. I freak out everytime I see something posted about invitations being out/RSVPs being returned....but I have to keep reminding myself that we are at the very END of the month :)
    We are getting our invitations approved/finalized tonight...then printed on Thursday.
    I have my hair trial tonight
    And I ordered baker's twine for our invites last night

    I finally made a calendar to-do list so I think I am on track until June! It makes it all so real!!

    I booked a suite for us girls for the night before and morning of the wedding. We will be getting ready at the hotel and then the limo will drive us to the church.

    I freak out about this too but we basically have an extra month from the people in the beginning, so I try to calm myself down with that.  It definitely lights a fire under my rear end though to see what I need to have done a month from now!

    We had our cake tasting today!! We booked them (I knew we would) and gave them our deposit. I'm so excited to have the last of our "vendors" checked of the list! (I said "vendors" because I don't like that word, I feel like we have a personal relationship with all of them, so I like to call them our wedding peoples).


    Tonight we're going to Cape Fear Formalwear and Jos A. Bank to pick out the groomsmen tuxes (FI bought his from BB). We're also going to Ace to see if they can order the mason jars we need for our favors.

    I finished addressing our response card envelopes. Now I have to address the actual invitation envelopes, and FMIL and I are printing the invitations on Monday.
