What's your latest retro/vintage idea/inspiration?
- dreaming of crown molding in my almost-completely-renovated bathroom (i think we'll put in a very small scoop type one. im so excited!

What wedding-related project are you tackling this October?
well, i finished my thankyou notes FINALLY and sent them out! yes! and we got our pro-photos so now i have to figure out which pics to put in our album (have to pick 100 out of the 1000 we got...its going to be SO hard!)

Tell us about/let us see your veil! Is it retro/vintage?
perfect i just changed my sig picture to DH and I under my veil. its not vintagey at all. it cost me $14 and had scattered rhinestones

What's your latest retro/vintage idea/inspiration?
I'm on a cameo kick. We ordered a candy mold of little cameos that we will make in chocolate put on our cake. Each piece will also get a chocolate cameo on it.

What wedding-related project are you tackling this October?

We are waiting to hear back from our caterer with a quote. I'd like to book so I can check it off the list!

Tell us about/let us see your veil! Is it retro/vintage?

Not sure if I am having one or not. If I do go for it I will want a long one to look similar to 1800s fashion plates.

My vintage inspiration is a train station. That's where we'll be having the reception. I hope it isn't too nerdy to use model trains and railroad lanters as center pieces, seat people at the "New York Central" or "Union Pacific" tables, or have ticket invitations.

My project this month is baking every flavor of cake I can think of. I'll be making our cake and I figure starting the practice now is key. I hope my co-workers aren't trying to lose weight!

I'll be wearing one of my great aunt's old hats from the 40s as my veil. Maybe that'll be next month's project.

Need to book a florist and photographer, like, yesterday. Stressing. Want to try to negotiate. Wish me luck!

Tell us about/let us see your veil! Is it retro/vintage?
Haven't decided yet. Back and forth between cathedral and fingertip. Either way I want it to be very simple, so as not to take away from my DRESS!

Clothes! Swing dresses and bowling shirts and shoes have overcome me as of lately.

Waiting for our rings to be fitted and working out details of our engagement photos.

Tell us about/let us see your veil! Is it retro/vintage?
I'm thinking a bird cage veil, but I'd like my hair down (I've been growing it out for the last 5 years waiting for a wedding :-P). All the photos I've seen with bird cage veils the ladies hair is up. If anyone has seen any other photos or has ideas I would GREATLY appreciate the help! I want to do a similar hair style for the engagement photos so I have to work this detail out soon.

What's your latest retro/vintage idea/inspiration?

Hmm... nothing really. I'm kind of frazzled out on wedding planning and inspiration... the big day is next month!

What wedding-related project are you tackling this October?

Printing photos of family and friend's wedding to display and photos of my grandmother and great-grandmother for my bouquet locket.

Tell us about/let us see your veil! Is it retro/vintage?

It is an ivory birdcage veil (pic in photo). I don't LOVE it on me so we'll see what happens when my hair is made up.

What's your latest retro/vintage idea/inspiration?
We just had our engagement pictures around the town where we live and the homes there were all built around 1890-1940...the woodwork is amazing and architecture is breathtaking!! It was really inspired me to take note of the little things we tend to forget that make such a big impact!

What wedding-related project are you tackling this October?
FINALLY- sending out save-the dates (that i have had since april!!!)

What's your latest retro/vintage idea/inspiration?
Latest inspiration is working on my collection of "little leather library" books. I have a few already, but I want MORE! They would make great wedding favours, if I wasn't so attached to them. :P

What wedding-related project are you tackling this October?
OMG EVERYTHING. What's foremost on my mind is my guest book. I haven't really tackled it, and I'm getting a bit nervous. It's sitting next to me unfinished. Eeek! My other DIY projects are getting banged out faster than I can post them to my website, though.

Tell us about/let us see your veil! Is it retro/vintage?
Oh, yes it is vintage! It's from the early 1950s and is my FI's nan's veil. It's a circle veil (but is actually more oval shaped) and has a vintage headpiece as well. I haven't yet decided if I want to wear the headpiece yet (wax orange blossoms!!!). Here's a photo of her in the veil, and a really bad photo of me in the veil.

Just married 10-9-10 had a vintage inspired look for my wedding day for myself. My wedding day was everything and more than I dreamed so happy to be married and now can enjoy life as a wife!
