Sooo.... I have to give you all a little background first, then have a couple questions. Way back months ago when I was first looking into bridesmaid dresses, I came to the conclusion that I was going to need to allow my girls to pick different dresses- with a few restrictions on color, length & fabric. Chris (who is very involved/vocal about the wedding planning) insisted that this would look ridiculous, that they needed to match & be uniform- just like his guys. Normally I might have tried to come to a compromise, but my girls range from a pear shaped size 20 to an athletic size 2... finding a dress that would look good on everyone just wasn't going to happen.
Well, fast forward to a few weeks ago and I'm in DB with a couple of my girls, and after trying on a couple dresses, ta-da, we find one that looks good on BOTH of them (the two sizes mentioned above actually). Not wanting Chris to be right (he has a tendency to repeatedly bring up his 'rightness' in discussions) my girls and I decided to act like they were having to get two different dresses. All my girls have since tried on the dress and/or ordered it and love it- plus they all look really beautiful. So part of the surprise for Chris on the wedding day is that he will find out all my girls are in the same dress (I'm also planning to get him a cigar roller and/or a groom's cake).
Where I need the advice is in the pashminas and jewelry I'm making for my girls as their attendant gifts/wedding day accessories. The dresses are a deep teal, and my accent colors are mango and pink champagne. I can't decide whether to do my 2 maids of honor in the pink champagne or the mango, and then my other girls in the other color, to do all one color, or use both to make the pashmina. What do you think?
Also, for the jewelry, I'm keeping the bracelets and earring matching, but designing a unique necklace with pendant for each girl to fit with their personality/interest (a fleur-de-lis for my sister who is studying French, a Celtic knot for one of my maids of honor, etc). Chris is being a pain & giving me grief about the necklaces not matching, because he thinks the jewelry sets should be identical since (as far as he knows) the dresses are different and I need something to make the girls match... he's big on the whole matching thing- it's cute yet annoying. Any suggestions on how to get him to let the matching jewelry thing alone?
ETA: This is the mango color I'm looking at (the sort of goldish orange on the inner petal):

And this is the pink champagne:
