Apparently not only does Blue Bunny make the aforementioned version of Red Velvet Ice Cream, but they also make Wedding Cake Ice Cream. Looks like Ben & Jerry's needs to catch up on this front! haha.

    I must say I had the blue bunny birthday party ice cream sandwiches this weekend and they were AMAZING. I've also had the ben and jerry's red velvet...so nice!

    How is Blue Bunny ice cream?  Ben & Jerry's is certainly a splurge.  They have a couple of new flavors, but I wasn't terribly moved to try any of them except for the red velvet.  We usually get a larger container of Gifford's or Edy's (mint ice cream with tollhouse brownies) when we get ice cream from the grocery store.  I will add Blue Bunny to the list if you guys recommend it.  I love Stonyfield Farm minty chocolate chocolate chip froyo for something a little healthier, but it's hard to find where I live.

    I'm a hard-core Stonyfield froyo fan. I've never had Blue Bunny ice cream...just saw the post from the other day, then I saw that link today and I thought it was funny. 

    Anyone? Review of Blue Bunny ice cream?

    FI is on his second flavor of trying Blue Bunny after his mom recommended it, and he thinks is pretty damn amazing.  He is an ice cream freak - he's super picky but when he finds a kind he likes, he could buy the entire freezer full if I let him!

    I need to find this Wedding Cake flavor!

    Funny story about BB - my FMIL doesn't really eat a lot of sugar/unnatural products, but when she's having a bad day, she finds ice cream to be very comforting.  She discovered Blue Bunny last summer, and since then, when she's having a bad one she says "It's a Blue Bunny kind of day".  It's so cute.  One day, she couldn't find the Blue Bunny ice cream (she was up at her bf's camp) and the only store that sold it was closed.  Apparently FMIL had a bit of a meltdown because she couldn't find her Blue Bunny!  Picture 5 year old who missed the ice cream truck meltdown!
