Second Weddings

17 days ladies!!!!!!!!!

Only 17 days till my wedding. Met with the venue, caterer and "day of coordinator" this morning. The ONLY blip is that I broke a tooth yesterday, molar almost all the way back, but it showed when I smiled. Went to my trusty dentist this afternoon and got it fixed........LOVE this guy. I have fillings that are 30 years old......fillings don't fail, the teeth do! LOL

I feel good.....have a few last minute things to consider, but at this point the biggest pain in the *ss is getting all my "DIY stuff" to the venue the day before or God forbid the day of the wedding. Need to work on that, LOL.

Kevin and I have cleaned the 2 guest bedrooms, the kitchen, the full bath (it *sparkles*). My daughter has cleaned her bedroom. The "remodel/re-dos" of our bedroom and the 2 guest bedrooms are done.......just waiting for company.

I cannot believe the wedding I have actively been planning for 18 months (and planning in my head for over 30 years) is actually almost upon us. I have just a few items on my "to do" list, and am feeling pretty relaxed.

Just thought I'd share. Carry on, LOL.

Hooray!! Congrats Sue, good luck with your wedding! If we don't see you again before the big day, just remember to take your time and soak it all in. The one thing that I loved about my wedding day was that I didn't feel rushed, we just took our time and enjoyed it all while it lasted. :)

The best part of your entire post is that you're feeling relaxed.  That IS wonderful news.  That sparkly clean house sounds pretty good, too.  Yee ha!  Your happiness comes through every single word you've written.  I understand how it feels to be this close to the end of that 18 month cycle.  Whew!  Congratulations.  *\o/*

Wow - how exciting!  Glad the dental blip was easily remedied...  Those can be a PITA all by themselves...

wooohoooo! Yep, the more you get done ahead of time, the more relaxed you are. I did get a bit high strung a few days before the wedding, but only due to my caterer being a bad communicator.
Enjoy this time, it's sooooo fun!!!!! It sounds like you have everything well under control.

Sue is happy and it shows!!  What an exciting time for you!!  I know about the DIY stuff and getting it to the venue - we had to do that as well.  My BIL had a van and we loaded it up and dropped everthing off the night before the big day!

Enjoy these next few days and remember to breathe and take it all in. It will be wonderful.

    Cheers!!
