It has been slow around here: story time

So my BF ordered a moissanite stone from moissanteco to put into a setting from a local jewelry store. Fed Ex misses him two days in a row because of work. Before they made the third delivery attempt he also knew he would miss he called and told them he would just pick it up Saturday afternoon from their local location.

He goes Saturday and they began the process of shipping it back to the seller! Their policy states that they won't ship it back for three days after the 3rd missed delivery attempt. It wasn't even three days after the 2nd delivery attempt when he went to pick it up!! They promised to ship it back and said it should be here Monday, but it is just annoying.

If you didn't notice my BF can't keep secrets from me very well, but he is trying to make the proposal a surprise.

I realized I forgot the question part.

When BF called the 1800  FedEx number like the local store told him to they said they were seeing the packages location as in NC. When he went back inside the local store talked to corporate and then corporate was telling him it was in TN.

Does that seem odd? Shouldn't corporate have seen the departure even if it had not arrived?

It's possible that the computers hadn't updated all the way to corporate yet, so maybe that's why they had a different location? Did you have shipping insurance on it?

Honestly, I have no idea what he did as far as insurance when he ordered it. I didn't even know he HAD ordered it until he told me what happened to him yesterday.

OooooOOOOOooooHHHHHhhh... I know that this little setback sucks but you are going to have a ring soon!!!

As a fellow 5 year + girlfriend that is extremely exciting! Your time is almost here and you will no longer have to listen to "so when is going to pop the question"

And I have recently become very interested in the moissaniteco website, have shown it to SO and think it's a definite possibility.

Let me know when you do get the stone, I would love to hear what you think of the quality.

    Until then, deep breaths!
