I am a baking student so I want to made homemade edible favors for my guests. I'm not making the cake because that's too much work "on the day of" but I still want to impress my guests with something really yummy. First I was thinking of making chocolates. The downside to that idea is that its probably the most expensive and the most work. Then I thought of a box of assorted petit fours (tiny decorated bite-sized cakes). THEN I thought of doing cupcakes, one or two in a box at each place setting. But is it weird to have wedding cake, then get cupcakes as a favor a few hours later? I don't want to do a display table for any of these ideas because I don't want to have to set it up myself, and I don't want to have to rent the serving platters.
So, I'm leaving it up to you. There are pros and cons to all ideas so I'm just going to go for whatever you guys decide!
