Good - The weather was AMAZING. we were so worried, because the day before was cloudy and dreary, but the day of was perfect. i seriously could not have asked for better weather.
the resort was absolutely fantastic. the food was delicious. the set up was great, the staff was so so nice and helpful. one of the guests had planned to call her children at home during cocktail hour, and when she tried her phone wouldnt work. the resort let her make an international call free of charge. there was nothing that anybody asked for that they denied. it was wonderful
my photographer was a godsend. with all the planning and organization we had, we totally forgot about a ceremony timeline, and probably shouldve had a rehersal. when we got disorganized, he kept everyone on track, even while taking pics. Even while taking the pictures, you never knew he was there. he was like a photographer ninja. haha.
my TTD. if youre on the fence, do it. we did ours the morning after and it was so nice to spend that time with bryan alone. most of the pics are prob going to be of us kissig or laughing because it was literally all we did for an hour. the photog followed us around as we played around, and it was so so sweet to spend that time with my hubby.
Bad - the beach was gone! ok, maybe not GONE, but it was 1/4 of the size it was when we were there last year. a hurricaine came through last fall, and completley wiped out the beach. it sucked that most of our "formal" pictures were on the rocks, instead of beach, but i was thankful to have my friends and family there with bautiful weather to take pictures on the rocks

My something old and borrowed was a crystal earring that belonged to my aunts mother who recently passed. i lost it. are. you. serious. i was so upset, and it ruined my night....for about 20 minutes. Bryan actually ran back down to the beach and combed the ground, and found it!! in the dark, in the sand, face down. it was a miracle.
My cake people sucked. they came in and dropped the cake off. literally at the front desk. dumped and ran. didnt place the cake topped, Bryan actually did that, AND made the cake blue, instead of purpe, so everthing was totally mismatched and retarded looking.
my hair. my hair dresser came highly recommended, so i was excited to see him. he was a f*cking jerk. he talked to me like i was some low rent tourist, who was interrupting his lunch. i literally went at it with him, and after that he lightened up and was nicer, but i hated my hair. it was falling out an hour after i walked out of the salon. at one point he asked me if this was my first marriage because "you are in your 30s"
I not happy with my appearance overall. at the time i really didnt care. i was so so calm, and i was not nervous, AT ALL. i was so relaxed that i didnt really pay much attention to details, i was just so, "oh hey a wedding, thats cool, lets go check it out!". haha. i forgot to put my belt on for the ceremony, and when i finally did put it on i asked my MOH to clasp it for me. she did it wrong and all you can see is this ugly flap of lose belt hanging off my back. ugh. i never even looked at my makeup before i walked out. i def did not have enough on. i couldve done my makeup better by myself for free. in hindsite i wish i woudve done my hair/makeup/dress differently, but Bryan thought i looked amazing, so thats really all that matters

Ugly - The cruise. I will never, ever cruise again. EVER. we sailed through storms the entire time at sea, and i spent most of our time cruising, sea sick. i tried everything and nothing made me feel better. it was really sucky. and, they put 5000000mg of salt on EVERYTHING. i gained 9lbs on the cruise, and im pretty sure its all bloat from all the salt. cruising home from bermuda, i couldnt even take my rings off my fingers. my face blew up like a deer tick that just feasted. i had indents in my feet when i took my sandals off. it was so gross. the housekeeper barely touched our room all week. we paid a LOT of money to be in a penthouse suite, and get the perks that went along with it, and our friends staying in inside, bottom floor cabins were taken care of better then us. the last straw was when they took my dress to steam it, and returned it to the room ripped, stained, and......hanging outside of the closet uncovered. Bryan walked in and turned around fast enough that he didnt see it, but that was the last straw. Bryan lost his mind on our concierge. his response? "so youre upset because its bad luck?" he was such an ass and that just made Bryan get angrier and really rip this guy apart. everything from then on out was free, and if i asked my butler to lick my assss clean, she probably would have, but at that point it was just too little too late.
at the end of the day, i had an amazing wedding. it was everything i wanted it to be and everyone raved about how much fun they had and what a wonderful wedding it was. the bad that bothered me didnt bother anyone else, and in the end didnt matter at all. i had perfect weather, and the perfect wedding to my perfect boy.
Re: G/B/U - loooooong

CONGRATS MRS!!!!
Wedding Bio
I was really worried about my salt intake before our wedding too. I also didn't drink too much because of all the sugar in the drinks.
But the good news your husband stood up for you, and he sounds like a great guy!

what cruise company did you guys take, that sounds ridiculous that you had you had to go through all of that. I absolutely looove cruises so to hear that all of that happened to you and you were in the penthouse suite is sooo wrong, you should definitly write a letter. I mean you pay all this money and this was supposed to be an amazing experience, its unbelieveable how they truly dropped the ball.
Other than that, CONGRATULATIONS MRS!!!

The day I married my best friend!
@Jillian - we went on NCL. It was my first cruise. DH has been cruising for 11yrs and SWORE id be ok and it was worth it. In the long run it turned out to be the most cost effective option for our guests, so I agreed to cruise. Needless to say, DH has been on his last cruise! hahaha.
