So, I applied for a job as a legal researcher based on some issues I'm having at my current job. I followed up a few days after sending my resume and cover letter, and was told I'd hear back within two weeks. So, I called back two weeks later and was told that the attorney had my resume and cover letter, that I'd hear back in two weeks. A week into it, I changed my phone number (granted, it was the end of the first week), so I called back and let the man in charge of setting up interviews know of the change. He said the attorney was out, but that I should definitely hear something within the next week.
That was Friday before last. Should I call back today and be like "Yo, can I get an interview? Because I love research? And I'll work lots of hours and be completely happy and do whatever you want, just PLEASE give me an interview so I don't feel completely trapped in my current crappy job?!?!?!" Or should I just wait?
