Not for now, but later in life.
How do you stop boys from getting all whiny and annoying when they are sick. DH does this and I call it "man sick" or "whiny b!tchitis". For example, DH has allergies. Right now they are bothering him and he has post-nasal drip. This irritates his throat and gives him a sore throat. He has has this once before, and he swore that he had strep throat. He ended up going to urgent care and being told he had allregies, they gave him a lidocaine gargle and told him to take Zyrtec.
So last night he's tossing and turning in bed. I hear all these noises of him spraying crap in his throat or sucking on cough drops. I'd like to be sympathetic but I've got to be up at 5 am. I also pushed a baby out of my vagina. Until the day I die, very little will illicit any sympathy from me about my husband's aches and pain in comparison to that.
But anyways, I cannot do this twice. I cannot have my son acting like this. When he gets older, I need him to not do this. Do I build a hut in my backyard and banish my husband to it when he gets "sick"? Please help, this is a true woe for me.
