Do you think guests would stay two nights?

I'm planning on booking an Inn for my wedding, but they expect all 24 rooms to be booked for a minimum of two nights since it's Memorial Weekend. I can't tell if my guests would come for two full nights of a wedding weekend, or if they'd just come for the night of the wedding and thus choose a different hotel where the two night minimum isn't expected. What do you think?

    Screw that! That's crazy! They just want the extra money. Maybe check a couple other places to see if that's odd or not before you decide.

    I think it depends on how far people are traveling. If most do not live in Vermont, I'd be more okay with it. 

    On an somewhat related note - I'm thinking of getting married over Memorial Day in Vermont, too! Are you worried about the weather at all? I was thinking of doing an outdoor ceremony and then I realized that it might be the middle of mud season!
