oh silly kitty...Pet Stories!

So my kitty likes to take his little catnip mouse and dunk it in his water bowl. He just decided that it was a good idea then threw the soaked toy on the couch spraying water everywhere.

Anyone want to share funny/cute/annoying pet stories?

(sorry bside, this probably doesn't help with puppy fever!)

My cat has a nasty habit of fighting with the apt complex's stray cat through the window at 4 am. They claw at each other through the window right next to the bed, like they're actually going to do something to the other one. Shasta thinks she's actually doing damage...

hahahaha! Funny! My dog always wants to escape out of the backyard fence. He is a GIANT dog. He's a standard poodle. The fence goes up to the top of his leg. He could seriously just jump over it. But he stands there barking at everything instead of just jumping over the fence. It's hilarious. But he's never done it! (YET)

Also, not pet related... but look at what one of my facebook friends just posted:
"facebook hubby?? send the request if i accept feel specail!"

REALLY!?! Yeah, this girl is only 16. But still. What the heck....

My puppy can't seem to keep water in her mouth.  She will drink and drink and drink, and then she'll walk away from the water bowl but water just comes dribbling out in a trail.  I guess if I need to find her I could always follow the trail  Though wearing socks and walking through a water spot gives me the ickies.

My cat likes to lie on the coffee table and take swats at the dogs when they walk by. Our golden loves to lie under said coffee table, and sometimes Beaux will lean over out of nowhere and take a huge swipe at his tail or face! When that happens, Ridley usually just runs away like a coward. The cat also likes to attack Rid's tail when they're both lying in bed - he'll wrap his legs around it and start chewing on it. Werido.

My dog managed to get a hold of an ink pen BF left on the desk while we weren't home. When I got home later that evening there were blue spots all down the hallway, along with chewed up plastic parts. The pen never stood a chance! Then I round the corner and there's my dog looking completely innocent. Mind you his front paws and his tongue are blue. Silly dog!

I don't have the picture here at work or i'd post it, but BF and I were laughing for a week wondering what people thought of us when we took him on walks. Here's my baby boy "Remi" with WHITE paws! haha

My moms dog will take a mouthful of food and spit it on the carpet by his bowl. He eats that food then scratches the carpet before getting another mouthful. It's the weirdest thing.

Molly does something like that too! She grabs a piece, runs away (to her bed, to a chair, somewhere else) then eats it and runs back for another.  Strange pug.

And for good measure. Mikey in FBD's hoodie:

BF and I have a 'blended family' - my cat moved in with his two when I moved in with him. And the furchildren do not get along well. There's been a lot of hissing and growling and the occasional fight, which usually is a pain in the butt, but there was one time that it just became hilarious.

Mozilla (BF's cat) dared to try and use Yohji's (my cat) hooded litterbox. Well, Yohji was having none of that, and proceeded to tip the whole litterbox over, open end down, trapping Mozilla inside! I had to rescue Mo and clean up all the spilled litter, Yohji looking entirely too pleased with himself the whole time. I felt bad for poor Mo, but I could not stop laughing!

My cat also loves to "help" with the laundry. When I am sorting it before putting it in he chases every piece. Then when I dump the clothes out on the bed afterwards he will attack every item I pick up to fold. Once it's folded and I put it on the bed he lays on it. Every single piece of clothing. lol. And then he takes a nap on the pile so I feel bad making him move to put it away. Like this:

When Bellamy was a puppy, he belched a lot and we would always laugh because we're children. Now he thinks that it's a form of affection, so when he wants love and kisses, he belches, haha.

Lucy (my cat) always puts one paw in the water dish when she has a drink. This also means that she gets kitty litter in the water from her dirty paw.

She also walks through puddles when part of the backyard floods in the winter.
