Check, check and check!!

Had my first appointment today w/ Dr. Grasso's office (dentist).  What a super friendly staff.  I met him at a bridal show (with Kara and Bridgett) and decided to make an appointment for a consultation to talk about whitening.  I was a little hesitant to spend the $$ on it, but I was just so in love with his office and staff that I thought "what the heck"... I knew I was going to want to do it eventually anyway... now seems like a pretty good time.

Then I had my first fitting today with Mary Golden... oh my god is she sweet!  And super fast.... I went with one of my BMs (who also got fitted for her dress) and we were in and outta there in about 30 minutes.  I have the utmost confidence in her.  Can't wait to see what my dress looks like when it actually fits... and bustles!!!  sooooo excited!

Then (since I was not about to go back to work)... I went to the mall and had a makeup trial at Sephora.  Love their airbrush system (waaay better than Liz Lanzas) and Heidi was great!  I will try to post some pics later.  I am not 100% sure about the dark smoky eye, but I can go back any time and we can play around with other colors.  I am still not super thrilled to battle the mall on my wedding day, but I think it will be worth it.  I am hell bent on airbrush and this seems to be the best place so far.

Tomorrow, meeting with the music guy at our church, then making some awkward phone calls to wrangle in all those outstanding RSVPs.  I have to get as much as I can done this week, because next week it's back to school.  Ugh!

Check, check and check!!!

It's @ $200 for the whitening (they give 1/2 off for meeting them at a bridal show, so I'm guessing it's about $400 normally)
I (genius) did not sign up for dental insurance during open season, so I am going to end up paying another $260 something for new patient, xrays, cleaning and exam.  But... I figure I should keep up with the regular dental stuff anyways.
But... whitening alone really isn't too bad I guess.

That all sounds awesome!  I am cheap and am just planning to do an at-home whitening kit.  Good luck with the phone calls.

I would love to do the at-home... actually have tried several different ones, but I have one tooth that is noticeably darker than all the others and it drives me crazy!!!  I ahve tried cutting the whitening strips so that it covers just that one tooth and it really doesn't seem to matter.  So... I give up and I am trusting this to the pros.
    Pretty soon...  ---- />Sealed
