Wedding Ceremony Location

Hi Everyone,

I am recently engaged and planning a wedding in the East Lansing area for September 2013. The reception is going to be at Eagle Eye, but we are struggling with a ceremony location. I'm not thrilled about the $1200 fee for the Hawk Hollow chapel and the MSU chapel only has the late time (5:30-8:30) slot available. Any ideas for a ceremony in the Lansing area?

Welcome to the board. How many people are you planning on having? There is a church in the Meridian Historical Village in Okemos, that they rent out for weddings.

We are having around 175 guests. Thanks for your input, but I think we are going to cough up the cash for the Chapel at Hawk Hollow. It's so convenient, it's hard not to choose.

If you haven't already booked the Bridge Stree Chapel in Grand Ledge is a little cheaper and it accomidates up to 200 people.
