Death Stare LOL

I had to do parent/teacher's conference with the Wasband yesterday and this is the first time we have been in the same space since I got engaged. He just stared at my ring the whole time. Of course I made sure it was glistening! He was staring so hard I just wanted to pop him in the eye. LOL

  • Was it nicer than the one he got you? Men have egos too :D Something like that can crush it.

  • haha I love this. It happened to me too. I went to pick up my daughter and he pointed at it and said wow! Since then he has made comments about he still loves me and wants us to be a family again. I've told him he needs to stop but he won't. I really don't know what else to do about it. Any advice?
  • My ex has started commenting more on my posts on facebook and has also started attempting to show an interest in being a father.  (He calls once a week now, which is new.)

I think, often, there is still a glimmer of hope in some men's minds...at least until you remarry.  I try to look at it as a good thing if it means he takes more of an interest in his children.
  • Yes you are right about that. He has always been there for his daughter but didn't start making comeits to me until after his ex girlfriend broke up with him. That was about two mmonths after we got engaged. My fiance made the comment that we need to find him another girlfriend. I've done everything i can to get him to stop but nothing has worked. I would just ignore it if it won't for that it has started fights with my fiance. He calls me at least once a day sometimes two or three times. I asked not to call as much but it hasn't helped. I hate not to answer when he has our daughter because something might be wrong but when i have her i do ignore him for the most part.
