So we got a nice dumping of snow yesterday/last night and our neighbors kindly shoveled our driveway. (Love them!) We do theirs as well if we get outside first., anyways...
So this morning I was brushing the snow off my car to go to work and just as I was finished and coming back to the drivers side I fell. Flat on both knees.
I think I need to go back 3 years. May 30th (Yes I remember the day, it's been burned in my skull as a traumatic event) I crushed the ligaments in my right knee. I was borderline surgery, but I was on the wrong side (the side where the Dr.s said no surgery for you) So instead all I got was a months worth of heavy duty pain meds, anti-inflammations and a month off of work with a nice prescription of " stay off your leg for a week and then start walking on it" The Drs. were CRA-ZY! I could barely bend my knee laying down, forget putting any sort of weight on it.
Anyways, since then it's significantly better except my knees have major arthritis and I now trust them more to predict the weather instead of the weather man. (If there's any rain or snow in the future I'll know about it at least a day before) I can also barely walk up my stairs if I'd had a long day standing.
So back to this morning yeah, I fell flat on both knees and both hands. My knee has been throbbing ever since and I think when I fell I pulled something in my neck or head. I've been feeling a bit of pressure in the back of my head ever since this happened but the pressure has been gradual. I'm hoping it will gradually go away just like it came..
I think my new nickname should be Clumsy or AP (accident prone).
