Looking for sites

Hopefully some folks have some ideas that will help me out!

I have a huge task ahead of me - needing to plan a wedding in Michigan and a reception in Minnesota. I'm looking for barns or some kind of rustic setting for each one. For Michigan it will be anywhere within 45 minutes of Lansing, and for Minnesota anything within 45 minutes of the Twin Cities.

I've been looking at the Woldumar Nature Center in Lansing as a strong candidate.

Hopefully there is an angel among all of you that will have a great idea or three!

Other options for venues are Peacock Road Tree Farm in Laingsburg and the Country Mill in Charlotte. Good luck in your planning.

There's a link that lists barns that host events. However, most of them are outside of your 45 minute range. That site should also list Minnesota barns.

I am starting to have fantastic luck with Craigslist in the Twin Cities so that search is becoming crazy easy.

Ther is also An Orchard Wedding near Charlotte I think.
