FI works in the film industry, and we got engaged at Disneyland and his heart is absolutely set on our first dance being Married Life by Up. Here it is:

I don't mind using it, but I'm VERY perplexed as to how to work this out. First off, it's a LONG song and I'm not going to make our guests watch us for 5 minutes. Is this a waltzy-type dance? Do we need to learn to waltz? What the heck do we do when the music turns and the wife dies (thanks a lot FI)?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, as FI cares about 2 or 3 things in this entire wedding and I want to make it work for him!

    Hello,

    I saw your post about using "Married Life" from UP as your first dance song at your wedding. Did you go ahead with this? How did it work out?

    My fiance and I are actually planning an UP themed wedding and are interested in using the song as well. My concern is that it seems a little fast for a waltz and like you said, I'm not sure what to do during the slow sad parts.

    Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
