Half Marathon Costume

Sooo I told you ladies that I was trying to come up with an idea of what to wear for my half in May that would allow me to wear a tutu. Here's what I've come up with. Help me decide!

1. Runaway Bride (white tutu, white shorts, white tank, cheap veil, maybe a hair flower or small bouquet)

2. Michael Jackson (black/white tutu, black sequin suspenders, white tank top, sparkly gloves)

3. Hula Dancer (green tutu, natural grass skirt, white tank (will prob. take off & wear sports bra as it warms up), lei.

I'm sorta leaning toward the bride because it's probably my only half before I'm married & can use the other costumes at other races later...

What would you do??

I voted for the runaway bride! I think it sounds fun and it works since you are a bride. The other's would be fun for after you are already married

I vote for runaway bride just because of your point of how you can reuse the others later. I like the other two ideas a little better (big michael jackson fan, and we got married in Hawaii so I'm partial to the Hula idea too) but this one is so appropriate for now

Not sure how I feel about running with a garter on, though it would be cute! I don't know that it would stay put for 13.1 miles. I might have to come up with something though because that's too cute to skip out on without trying to make it work. I have body glue from when I was an Irish dancer- that might work! Maybe I'll start wearing a garter on my long runs hahaha.

I love that idea! I always run Grandma's Marathon in Duluth and I always wear some crazy shirt....this year I wanted to have a tank that said "just married" or "bride" or "newly wed" but couldn't find something catchy....I LOVE your idea to be a runaway bride! Too cute...I may want to borrow that idea. Hope you won't mind!
