  Ugh, that's terrible. I also know someone I graduated HS with that is getting married the same day as me. We barely know each other though, we probably have like 1 mutual friend, and I don't know if she's even getting married in this area.

  
  

  Just curious - if she posts on your home board, how do you know she won't post here too? Or that she's not lurking? I'd hate for you to have to censor yourself, but you might want to be careful of what you post here, at least until you have all of your big things booked so that she can't try to steal them.

  I have an 'ex friend' getting married the same day who actually said flat out to a mutual friend 'you have to choose'... lol 

  Needless to say the friend told me and told me to expect her at the wedding because his attitude about it is rediculous!

  I'm sorry someone is trying to book the same vendors you are.  I would have a hard time with that if I knew someone was doing the same thing.  You put in all this hard work & research and then find out that someone else is going to snatch them away.  Yuck!!
  
  Also, that really sucks about the TA.  I have to meet with one soon and I really hope they aren't terrible.  At least you don't have to go with him!

  Not all TAs are terrible, but there definitely are terrible ones out there... sorry you're having to deal with that

  oh  man that is a bad day - so sorry to hear that!!

  My sister is my MOH and her friend is now getting married in October 2012 and has asked her to be her MOH as well. I don't really need much support so I'm not concerned other than my sister being burned out. This other bride cannot do a thing for herself and she's constantly asking my sister what it is I'm doing so she can get ideas. She gets mad at my sister for not being there for every little decision even tho my sis lives 5 hours away from her. She's being a bit ridiculous but I've noticed many women become nasty brides
