in October 2012 Weddings
having "holy-crap-its-getting-close" freak out moments? I just got my church's newsletter for September. They list who is giving altar flowers for the next two months. I saw our name in for the altar flowers for the 21st (the day after the wedding) and realized how close we are. AAAccckkkk.  How can it be only a month and a half away? I still have so much to do!

    My bachelorette party is this weekend. The girls started planning it in March and I can't believe September is here on Saturday! Next week when I come back to work on Tuesday it'll be the 4th. Nearly the one month mark! I'm hoping to get a lot done on the holiday Monday but if I don't I think I'll definitely be starting to freak out! Partly due to nerves and partly due to excitement!

    TOTALLY FREAKING OUT.  I just want everything done, NOW.  I have wedding brain and that's all I think about it what I need to do, and what needs to be done.

    Ha, I got that way, weirdly enough, when they announced the first few hosts for Saturday Night Live this year and included one for October 6th (my wedding date). I was like, "Oh my goodness, it's soon enough that they're already deciding on TV that's airing on my wedding day!!"... which is a weird way to think of it, ha, but it gave me my "Oh my gosh" moment.

    Yes, the reality of me not getting my dress for probably another 2 weeks, and counting out that it will then be 5 wks before the wedding totally freaked me out!  Also, tomorrow is 50 days, so there is that!

    Yes. I am so over being engaged and I am so sick of wedding planning. I would just like the wedding to be OVER already. Then I can go on my honeymoon and get on with my life.

    My sister is my MOH and as much as she wanted to keep some things a secret, she also was very concerned about planning something I would enjoy. We're going to a pottery and glass making studio then out to dinner and drinks! We're planning to check out the West Glen area in West Des Moines instead of hitting up the downtown bars.

    YES and if FI says to me one more time "we still have plenty of time" when  i ask him why he hasnt taken care of something, i might choke him and then there will be no wedding!
    We are down to the little loose ends that need to be tied up and i just want to do them and get them over with and he would rather procrastinate as usual, ugh!

    Nice!  That sounds fun!  My bridesmaids will not tell me what we are doing at all, but I know we are going to Des Moines and crashing at one of their houses that night.  One BM is 8 months pregnant so I told them we don't have to get rowdy and could just go out for dinner and drinks....we will see what comes of it!  lol, if we end up in West Des Moines, I'll keep my eye out for another blonde bachelorette!  haha
