Ketubah

Any suggestions for where to find a beautiful Ketubah? I haven't been thrilled with what I've seen out there so far.

www.ketubahsandmore.com. I purchased this one from Micki Caspi (click on the pic to see it larger):

I'm no help for your area, but I know that the Bay Area Jewish weekly newsletter (simply called "J") has a list of resources like this on its website. Maybe the DC area has a similar resource?
Also your local synagogue, whether you are a member or not, can probably point you towards something.

I would strongly suggest looking at actual ketubot, rather than just pictures of them on the Internet. The colors and details just aren't as visible on the Internet.

We went to:

Israeli Accents
4838 Boiling Brok Pkwy
Rockville, MD 20852

The ketubah we ended up with was the Embrace ketubah from 20th Century Illuminations.

I don't know if prices are higher or lower, but, you can also order directly from www.caspicards.com. That's what we did (Blue Scroll).

The prices were definitely lower on www.ketubahsandmore.com: they will email you a 10% off code upon request.

Ah! We never looked elsewhere because my cousin was an authorized dealer and got it for us at cost!

You'll find some really extraordinary designs at Ketubah Graphia (ketubagraphia.com).

Hi,

I am a Ketubah artist. My Ketubot are based on my original oil paintings and watercolors. I also make Children's Name Prints and Baby Naming Certificates. Thought I would send along a link to my web site in case you wanted to take a look. www.allysonblockjudaica.com

Best of luck with your wedding plans!

Thanks,
Allyson

Ok, sorry didn't realize that.

I got mind from Ketubah.com. I loved it because it was simple and figured the colour scheme would match any decor. I was extremely happy with the quality considering I purchased it online. I know this company now sells samples if you buy from their Signature Collection. The amount you pay for the sample is deducted from your total if you purchase a ketubah from them. Great customer service!

we fell in love with an artist on Etsy that does custom papercut ketubas for the same price as the printed ones.
