WPFM rehearsal complications

So we're getting married on the patio at the farmer's market and the venue is being used the evening before the wedding, so we won't be able to stop by for the rehearsal when we were planning to. I thought, "no big deal, we'll just do it earlier that day"...having a rehearsal lunch instead of dinner...HOWEVER...our officiant works during the weekdays and would not be able to be there early in the day like that.

I don't know what to do! Should we just have the run-through of the wedding somewhere else when we can all meet? We could probably do it Thursday evening instead of Friday, but people would JUST be arriving into town and I would have to take another evening off of work to drive from Melbourne to WP. Gah, such a mess =\

Any suggestions?

I think I would just hold it elsewhere... people will figure it out the day of. It's just a different backdrop, everything else will be the same. We are having the same issue with our Sunday wedding @ the LMEC, since there will be a Saturday (ALL day) event, we can't do our rehersal then. Blah. :(

It's a big porch, you can do it in any square space. Don't stress about it. I'd do a run through with everyone and you'll make it work the day of. Good luck! I'm having a farmer's market wedding too so I'm looking forward to seeing how fab yours is going to be!

    Farmer's Market Bride #3 here :)

We're not having the ceremony at the Market, but we ran into a similar issue at Mead Garden, so we're doing the rehearsal at my FI's huge, beautiful back yard :)

Here's an idea I came up with to help our out-of-town wedding party participants get a bit more familiar with the venue without actually having to do the rehearsal there.  Go by the market at some point between now and then, and take some pics of the terrace from several different angles.  Print them out and bring them with you to your off-site rehearsal.  That way you can just do the run-through wherever you wish and still give your wedding party some idea of what to expect.

I'm only on here REALLY late at night, more like early morning (wedding DIY projects are taking up most of my evenings!), but let me know if you would like me to forward some pictures of the terrace to you (I know you live in Melbourne...save you the trip:) and I will do so gladly.

    Hope everything goes well!

Thanks for the tips girls. I've just gotta throw around a few emails and we should be able to work something out.

lauralulu777 - thanks for the offer to take pics!, but we'll be by the venue this weekend, so we'll be able to take some while we're there. =)
