Alrighty, so today I went to order the Samsung Galaxy Note through AmazonWireless because it was $100 less than going into the AT&T store.When I placed my order, I got an email saying I need to go into the store and have them run a credit check since I'm a new AT&T customer. I went in, got my credit check, and the lady told me that to get that phone, I would need to put down a $500 deposit that I would not get back until the END of my 2-Year contract. Really?!
It's because I have no credit and have never had a contract with AT&T. But $500!? Anyone else go through something like this?
