Hello,

I am having trouble finding a venue for my style and small wedding. I stumbled upon one in stillwater, mn that I absolutely ADORE but it is 6 hrs away from our families homes. I will post the link below. Does anyone know of something similar nearer by location (Chicago, IL) I had looked in Wisconsin as far as madison and Michigan too but am coming up empty handed

Any advice for a newbie would be very much appreciated!

I'm not sure if you are leaning more toward the farm concept or floral, but a few to consider would be The Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe, The Cuneo Museum in Vernon HIlls, or the Byron Colby Barn in Grayslake.

Thanks for the quick reply. I probably should have stated that I am on SLIM SLIM budget...those places are gorgeous but WAY out of my price range

Look into Winnetka Community House in Winnetka, IL. It was perfect for our small wedding and the packages were pretty affordable, plus we could have our wedding and reception in one place. Good luck!

My sister had her reception at Winnetka Community House and it was lovely. They have an outdoor patio space as well.....
