When FI and I did a tasting @ Blue Note, a client picked up her "just married" car. It was just the backend but sooo cute. They probably can do a whole car, just be prepared for at least $8 a slice. I also heard that Simon Lee was a gret place. HTH!

Try Classic Cakes by Lori in dripping springs - she does amazing "design" cakes!! The cake is so yummy and was much more reasonably priced than Simon Lee.

a friend of mine is a firefighter, so his groom's cake was a fire truck, complete with the bride and groom, etc.  it looked & tasted absolutely spectacular.  i have no idea what the cost was, but they got it from matty's cakes.

I've seen some pix from Michelle's Patisserie and it looks like they do the creative stuff well.

Blue Note Bakery, for sure. Check out their website and their cake portfolio pictures. They've done everything from a beer cooler to an arcade machine to a set of golf clubs. They were very easy to work with, and made accomodations for our budget (i think the cake is going to be around $500.) Plus, the samples tasted amazing!
