Hi ladies! Is there such a thing as cheap makeup application for wedding day? My hair stylist is only charging $50.  In looking around, I can't find makeup for less than $100.  Am i just getting a really good deal on my hair, and shouldn't expect around the same for make up, or am I looking in the wrong places?  Can you suggest a cheaper make up person?

    From everywhere that I have looked, the price your getting IMO is really low. which is good for you. A lot of makeup and hair places will charge more than that, especially if they travel to you.

    I'm getting my hair and makeup done and it's $310 for both trial and day of. BM's are getting theirs done for $110 for both hair and makeup. Plus travel fees for on location. Sounds like you are getting a great deal

    It also depends on what kind of make-up application you are wanting. Air Brush runs about $80 and up and usually includes false lashes.  Regular Make-up starts around your $50 that was quoted so it makes sense.

    Have you tried contacting a makeup artist at a beauty counter in a department store?  They usually do it on the side...I recommend going to a makeup brand that you already use.

    thank y'all for the recommendations! I will def. check them out.  Amanda, my hair stylist used to work out of her house but recently moved to College Station.  She is willing to come to Houston though for weddings.  PM and i can send you her info!

    I actually just found a makeup artist in the League City area this past week that has been VERY affordable. I am also on a budget and am booking my trial with her. If I like her from the trial then I'll probably book her for the wedding. Her name is Danielle and her website is: http://www.bellecheriestudios.com/

    She also does hair but I'm having my normal stylist do mine. She offers hair and makeup packages and also can do just makeup, which is what I might be having her do depending on the trial. Check her out!

    Try Josephine's Day Spa on Eldridge near Memorial.  Ask for Nareh.  All tips are included in their prices and they are very affordable.  I think you can find it all on their website.

    Nareh is my hair stylist but she also does makeup.  Good luck!
