Hey ladies! I am kinda at a loss for ideas for gifts for our 2 readers and gift bearers of holy communion. Any ideas? TIA

    I honestly never heard of gifts for readers and such until it was posted on this board recently.   I always felt it was an honor to be asked and that was enough.

    Yes, it is an honor to be asked. Thinking about gift cards, bottle of wine, etc. I don't know, any more ideas ladies?

    Our readers are married so we are going to get them a gift certificate to a local restraurant and maybe a bottle of wine.  Our gift bearers are a part of our wedding party so they will already receive gifts as part of the wedding party.

    We just gave them each a card and a $25 gift card to a place they liked ... Dunkin Donuts for two, Starbucks for one, Target for one and Barnes & Noble for one. Easy peasy.

    I have also seen a bride do a nice set of notecards, from Papyrus or similar. I was thinking of something like that-- not too expensive, but a little more personal than a gift card.

    We aren't doing gifts for them, but are inviting them to the (very nice) rehearsal dinner.

    I just recently heard of this!

    I'm giving "my" reader a Belleek vase ($30), and FI got "his" reader (his uncle) personalized golf ball markers, for about $25-30.
