  Hmmm...2 of my BM may or may not be pregnant at the time of my wedding but barely showing, so I know that doesnt help you, but for other friends of mine that have gotten married and had pregnant BM or a BM that  just popped they ordered the dress for the size they were around 6 months bc they said at the salon that is what they would look like after they gave birth, so if the dress doesnt come in maternity, order it in that size, but then it will need to be taken in everywhere else....this may mean waiting until the possible last min to order her dress!
  I also had FI's aunt suggest to me that since she was about to pop when she was in a wedding they ordered extra fabric that matched the dresses so incase the dress didnt fit they could use that for alterations.
  
  I would also have a convo with FI's sister in regards to how much is she willing to pay in regards to alterations if her dress comes in and doesnt fit, etc...she may just offer to back out (not saying that is what you want!)
  Also try speaking to the store/salon from where your getting your dresses they may have better suggestions and could be more helpful, im sure they deal with this all the time!!

  Perhaps something can be done to alter the dress. If it's a zippered back, have it turned into a corset. Maybe some kind of elastic panels can be added to the sides of the dress (in the same colour, obviously).

  She can just buy a bigger size dress and have the parts she needs smaller.

  The first thing you should do is try to find out when she is due.  Then contact the dress shop to get their advice on whay they think they can do to the dress to make it fit her.

  There may not be an actual maternity dress, but perhaps there's a style in that fabric with an empire waist? That with good alterations might do the trick.

  I think that even if you did buy the same dress and get it altered to fit her, it will look completely different due to her new body shape.  So I think you should try to get a dress in the same color, fabric, and length but don't worry too much about making it the same style as the other girls.

  
  

  I would beware of a non-maternity empire-waist dress if it's knee length, because if she is still pregnant during your wedding, the dress will probably be too short.

  I agree with PPs who have said it doesn't need to be maternity. A blogger I like had a (VERY) pregnant BM or MOH who wore a roomy empire waisted dress (I want to say it was a DB one?) that was the same color and fabric as her non-pregnant BMs.

  One of my BM's just got pregnant too, but she will have the baby just before the wedding. It is going to be hard to take her dress shopping if we dont go soon!
