Morning!

GM! Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

DF and I had a busy weekend as usual!

Friday we went wedding band shopping! We went to the place in the Clark building where he got my e-ring and I ended up ordering the matching band for it. Only downfall is that since my e-ring is an emerald cut, i had to send my ring back to the jeweler in chicago that makes the band to get an exact fit. SO i am w/out my ring for a few weeks :(

Saturday we went up to his parents house in lewistown, pa for a quick visit. It was nice to see his family! We got back late afternoon yesterday and I just caught up on laundry and started printing our invitations! I got all the actual invitiation cards printed, so that was a big step towards the project!

How was everyone's weekend??

    morning!

I had a good weekend!  My good friend came in from the Phillippines and we got dinner at a restaurant at the top of the Prudential building - it's a great view and wasn't too expensive b/c it's restaurant week.  It was also a friend's birthday, so we went out for that after.  Saturday I went to a concert with some co-workers featuring an icelandic band, and Sunday I went to see the Boston St. Patrick's day parade.  WE also had awesome weather but it's going to snow today - crazy!

Oh, and I started emailing florists and two were super responsive and got quotes to me that didn't make me want to pass out...so that was awesome.

db- sorry you are without your ring...that would annoy me!  GL on those invites.

    Morning Ladies!
We had a pretty good weekend. Friday night we went to dinner, then FI had to work early on Saturday so we just went back and crashed. Saturday, FI worked in the AM so I went to FILs and FMIL and I went out shopping for vintage looking picture frames for the table names. We ended up finding about 16 (so a little over 1/2) at Home Goods and TJ Maxx - they are so pretty and weren't super expensive. Now I'm on the hunt for the additional 14! Excited!

Then we went back and 'stuffed' all the envelopes. It was a pretty big pain trying to correlate the names with the numbers on the back of the RSVP cards, but I'm very happy we decided to do that because inevitably there will be people who forget to fill out their name. Now just waiting on the stamps and they'll be ready to go!

db - YAY for getting your wedding band! It's a bummer they have to take your e-ring though! I always feel so naked without mine! Also SO exciting you are starting to print your invites. WOOHOO!!

md - sounds like you had a fun weekend! I seriously can't believe it's supposed to snow there. That is absolutely terrible! I mean, just Friday it was 75 degrees and sunny here! Ugh!!

    Morning ladies,
Well I had a great Friday night with the FI. Since he coaches 3 different sports at the high school level at the the end of the season I get to pick a special date night. This Friday I celebrated the end of wrestling season and picked dinner at Red Lobster for lobster fest, followed by a movie, and drinks at a karaoke bar.

This was my weekend to work on Saturday and Sunday, night-shift so I didn't get to have much of a weekend to enjoyCry I had a pretty two easy night shifts, but I was still kept busy with just the usual craziness. It's been pretty easy for me to stay awake the whole night with out trouble. I just sleep the day away before I go into work.

db - i hate not wearing my ring, it makes me feel naked

md - I heard that the St. Patty's day parade in Boston is pretty huge, hope you had an enjoyable time

You all are up early today!

My weekend was pretty good. On Friday, I wasn't feeling great, so I took off the afternoon and went to Dress Barn and found my shower dress! Hooray! Who knew that Dress Barn had sooooo many adorable dresses?! I suppose the name should've tipped me off, but I remember when I was younger and it had scary matrony dresses, maybe they still do, but I'm older. :)Saturday, FI and I went to Harrisburg and saw FMIL. We are all really bummed... the doctor said she can't come to my shower this weekend. She's just not bouncing back from that colonscopy accident. Really stinks. We did check her out from the rehab place and went and got a flower girl dress... at Burlington Coat Factory (Thanks Ladies for the suggestion!).

Saturday night, FI and I stopped and had dinner at Fridays. We had a gift card, and I had not been in years. I had no idea that they put the calorie count on the menu! So disturbing. Needless to say, we ate more healthy than we had planned.
Yesterday, I went with my friend to get a spray tan and lunch. I was so worried about being orange, I never thought that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference, I'm kinda bummed about it.

DB- I bet you feel nekkid without your ring!
MD- Restuarant week is the best!
G- Holy Moly Tables! Wow! We only have 10 as of now. :)
Dana- I hope you are sleeping today away!

    Happy Monday Ladies!

Well, this weekend was yet another weekend of traveling as the FI and I went to my mom's in Maryland for her birthday. It ended up being an ok weekend, as I got to see my dad's brother and my aunt who I hadn't seen since last spring. We had a good dinner and my mom loved the cake I picked for her.

Yesterday we went to claim our prize, but to do so we had to sit through a presention of this cookware (so that was the catch to get our prize). We had no obligation to buy anything, but we ended up buying a really really cool pot for a ridiculous amount of money. However, because we bought something we got another 2 nights free at a Wyndham hotel! This time we had the option of 25 cities in the US/Canada/Mexico. We might end up in Hawaii for our honeymoon, so we may use 2 nights then, or take a vacation next summer to Vancouver or the Canadian Rockies. As for the original prize to the Caribbean, we found out it is good until the end of 2013, and that if we want to extend our stay, we can get 50% off the other nights we pay for. So I think that will be our vacation in 2013 :-)

db- Hope you get the ring back soon! I know I feel naked without mine now :-)

md- yeay for florists that are reasonable!

gmc- Glad you were able to find some frames. Hopefully it won't be too hard to find the others.

Dana- Sorry about the night shift :-( I have a few friends who are nurses and have to manage the night shift sometimes.

jbaxter- I love dress barn! They do have some of the cutest dresses sometimes.

I have looked at Macy's, Pennys, Shoe Dept., Nine West, Zappos, Nine West online, and Payless. No luck. I'm going at lunch today to look at the Nine West Outlet and Ross. Then, if nothing I'm going to DSW after work.

Holy cow jbaxter.... Hopefully you find something at the outlet or Ross. DSW does have a ton of shoes if nothing else. If you don't find something there then maybe check Nordstrom online. They can be really expensive, but they do have some reasonably prices shoes and a huge selection.

    Hi Everyone!

My weekend was so-so, can't wait for next weekend when I am finally off call! Friday night I got stuck in surgery til after 9 pm.... Grrrrrr. Saturday made it to the gym and FI and I met with a DJ that we decided to book! Check! We chose Andy Booth, he is really down to earth and has awesome reviews. Sunday went to have my taxes done - can't wait to be married - that's all I have to say about that! Lol.

db - I can't wear my ring at the hospital. It's nice to have a pic of it on my cell tho - that way when ppl ask I can still show them.

jl - My FAVORITE place to get shoes is the Nine West outlet in Washington, PA. Not sure where you live, but it's worth a trip. I bought 4 pairs there, super cute, for less than $80 a few weeks ago. One was actually a brown heeled sandal.

gmc - I live in Robinson, if you want I can check the TJ Maxx if there is a particular frame you want more of!

sara - So envious of your prize! Honeymoon is a HUGE check, we've barely thought about it yet.

    Have a great day everyone!!!
