3 center pieces built

We are doing some old-style painted crates with mason jars full of flowers as our centerpieces.
This weekend P and I built/painted 3 of them together. Our colors are kind of a mix of muted colors, so these are going to be a mix of colors.
They hold 4 mason jars and will each be packed full of flowers :)

  • Such a cute idea!

I am trying to figure out what to do for the head table because we are using really tall pieces for the guest tables, something like that would great :)

  • We have to make around 10 of them, but they'll be different sizes/shapes. Some will be 2 jars side by side, some will be 4 in a square, etc.
They take about 5 minutes to cut the wood, about 5-10 minutes to assemble. The longest part of the job is painting them. LOL

  • And if you get reclaimed wood like I did, they are CHEAP.
I'm using about 1/3 of a sample can of paint from home depot ($2.50 per sample, so about 83cents in paint) and nails I had on hand, plus hardware, which costs around $3-4 per box.
