What's everyone have planned?

Well I took my day away from wedding planning and I must say, I feel completely refreshed today! I'm going to try to make my sample program for the wedding today (it's nothing fancy). I'll post a picture when I finish that, I'd love to hear opinions on what I should change/keep the same. As for this weekend, I have to work so nothing wedding related will probably be accomplished.

Anyone else have any projects for today/the weekend?

    Now that my cardbox is finished I think I may start on the activity books for the kids table. I need to finish my pomander balls but thinking about cutting and gluing circles make me cringe lol...

    Solidifying colors and booking wedding night hotel (we are staying downtown- we won't want our friends to drunkenly bother us haha).

    @FLGatorGal- I thought about doing an activity table. What are you doing for that?

    I just came across a etsy seller who had the cutest darn coloring books EVER. It was only $4.50 to get the template. The seller is Sugarpie Studio. For the center piece I saw a cute crayon cake pop center piece that I am going attempt to make. (gotta love wilton). I also want to make heart shaped crayons by melting them in a heart shape molds. As of now that's all I have planned I just want to make sure the little ones have something to entertain themselves...

    Tomorrow we're booking hotels for a long weekend we're taking in NYC at the end of the month.  I also have some work stuff to do and we're hoping to see a movie that night.  Sunday is FI's friend's "pre-wedding" party.  They're having a DW and a casual celebration this Sunday for everyone not coming to the DW.  Sunday night, we have plans to have dinner with my cousins who are coming into town.  Busy weekend!

    I'm going to try to narrow down photog and DJ choices and set up an appointment to meet with someone... I also need to call the priest back who is marrying us... he called me weeks ago to set up our next pre-marriage meeting and I'm the awful Catholic who has not returned his call...

    Nothing for me this weekend, I'll be working almost the whole weekend at my second job :-( Not only do I have to close saturday night, but have to be back on sunday at 6 am to do inventory, lol.

    Hopefully next weekend I can finish up my card box!

    FI and I are visiting the last venue today and will be making a decision once and for all where we will be getting married. Right now we are torn between two locations. One is a country club and would be more "classic or elegant".




    The other is an old house that will give off more of a vintage/ garden style wedding feel.




    We like both options and it will probably come down to the small details because they are pretty much the same price.

    Once this major decision is made, the rest will fall into place. Next week will be about securing the venue and sending out STDs!

    Going to try to get the floral choices finished. My florist gave me 4 options for each thing I wanted and different prices so we need to sort through it all an decide how we want to spend our money. Also need to nag fi about his groomsmen....he still hasn't told any of his groomsmen he wants them in the wedding!

    Gotta find a wedding photographer, decide on an officiant and HOPEFULLY start addressing Save the Dates.  They were shipped to us in the mail two days ago, and should be getting here today-Monday.  I'm emotionally attached to snail mail, so I'm more excited about the Save the Dates than I should be lol.

    I was on vaction this week and had plans to do so much, but the best laid plans lol... I did however get my dinner napkins and beverage napkins designed and ordered. Now back to work tomorrow and overtime next week to pay for more wedding stuff...
