Wedding Guest Transportation Advice?

I'm trying to figure out the most affordable way to get my wedding guests from the ceremony in East Lansing to the reception at the Country Club of Lansing, and then back to their hotels in East Lansing at the end of the night. A lot of our guests are out of town, may not have cars, and I don't want anyone drinking and driving.

Does anyone have any ideas about this, or have you used a shuttle company to do this in the Lansing area? I really would like to provide this for my guests, but without blowing too much $$! Any advice is appreciated. Thanks ladies!

    We've hired a trolley to take the OOT guests from the hotel to the ceremony and then to the reception.  Then we are going to have a hotel shuttle take the guests back to the hotel at the end of the evening.

    You could always see if one of the taxi places would give you a deal. Some of them have bigger vehicles available, like Big Daddy Taxi. Ask the hotel where your group block is if they have a shuttle service, and if they'd let you use it for this. A lot of places only go to and from the airport, but may make an exception.

    Try a charter bus - we hired Indian Trails and saved significantly over taxi or limo services.
