NWR: Prayers Needed

It is something when planning a wedding and you write out your guest list...really expecting certain people to be there because they are special to you and then you get a call 6am about someone inparticular....

My cousin/uncle he's like my moms age died this morning from prostate cancer and no one in the family knew ! He was one of my moms favorite nephews ! My aunt who she is deceased is his mom was much older than my mom and had kids when my mom was little. She was raised with some of her nieces and nephews. My mom is the only one left out of her brother and sister, he didn't even tell her he was sick. My family is going thru it this morning.

2nd..on my youngest sister's side of the family..she just found out that her cousin was shot and killed by an off duty cop because he was trying to rob the cop and his funeral is Monday !!! He is only 21 yrs old

OMG I am so sorry. It really hurts especially since you and your family didn't even have time to prepare for your uncle because you didn't know he was sick.

I'm also sorry about your sister's cousin. I'm assuming it happened in Toledo which the killings are just becoming endless! It is so scary there now. Every other day I have facebook friends posting RIP and its young people! Praying for your family and our entire city!

And I know what you mean about having your guest list and then all of sudden people aren't here anymore to share your special day with you. Since getting engaged my aunt has passed (she was my mom's only sibling left). At this point I had only had my guest list. Just a couple of weeks ago one of my great aunts passed away. She was up there in age but it kinda hit me even harder than my aunt passing away because now I already have my invitations printed. And now her invite is sitting there already addressed with nowhere to go.

It really hits you then that life is so uncertain and we have to REALLY be thankful for every day we get and even more thankful for the days we get to spend with our loved ones.

Thank you my sisters sooooooooo much ! Your prayers are really helping me this morning ! MrsBoss..yes it happen in Toledo and thing about it, it happen almost 2 weeks ago we just found out about it ! Smh Ro...I'm so sorry you lost family too ! I I'm just like DAMN...he was supposed to be at my wedding acting a fool wit us, dancing and talkin ish and now he's not...I'm like why didn't he say anything ?! They said he left a note for my mom so..idk..I'm just at lost about why didn't he tell us !
