How much to drink?

We have 170 people invited and I'm trying to budget ahead. We're going to have beer at the reception but we're also going to serve Sweet Tea, Water, and Lemonade. (and a pack of juice boxes for the kiddies)

How can I tell how much of everything we need? I've tried calculators online, but they seem to assume only alcohol will be served. I know that when I go to a wedding I don't drink as much alcohol if there are other options too. How to do?

    You know your friends better than we do.  Are they mainly younger, or older?  I fully expect most of my younger guests to have at least 4-5 drinks (and knowing my friends, that may be on the low side).  Whereas my older guests may only have 1 or 2 drinks

    You're going to have to think about the age, geographic area your guests are from, if people are driving versus staying at a hotel across the street, time of day, etc.  My Midwest family will drink practically nothing at an afternoon wedding, my fiance's family from New Orleans having 3-5 alcoholic drinks wouldn't shock me.  Think about weddings you've been to, and ask close family and friends.
