Anna Maria Florist suggestions

Anyone have any?  I'm considering Sarasota Flower Girls but I'm finding Debbie to be a little "difficult".  She keeps trying to upsell me and I have a very limited and strict budget!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you considered Publix at all?  I'm not sure if the one on Anna Maria has a florist, but there is a Publix on Manatee/75th street that has a florist inside...

My flowers are coming from Publix :)

When i was researching, i was looking at the following florists:
    Flower Girls
    Elegant Design
    Naked florist
    Beneva Flowers

We probably going to end up with Publix. I have not visited none of the above. But thanks for heads-up on Flower Girls.

Tracy...i have been working with debbie, and while I have not yet noticed the "upselling", I still have tyet to get a proposal.  I met with her 3 weeks ago, and she said she would email me pictures of her proposal and a cost but I still haven't heard anything.  How long did it take for you?  I dont live in Florida, so I am doing this all from email.

Thanks ladies- I might look into Publix.  I have actually heard good things.  Mbathey-- I don't live in Florida either...my parents do...so my mom went into to flower girls or called them.  I'm not sure which and I can't remember how long it took to get the proposal back because I was in between moves and pretty busy.  But I will say her proposal had alot of little "extras" that I never alluded to wanting.  I spoke to her earlier on the phone this week- and eliminated things that I didn't want...like for example- we aren't getting our moms corsages because ultimately I know they will end up unworn at the end of the night and I figured I might give them a single flower instead-- and she sort of expressed her discontent with that.  Also I'm not doing flowers for the ceremony-- mainly becuase it's on the beach, supplies can be added by the sandbar and my ceremony is going to be all of 15 minutes long.  I just don't care to have them and she was very put off by that.  And then thing that really annoyed me is that she sent back the proposal and listed the flowers and acted like I was supposed to know what they all were.  I don't know... maybe it's a difference in personalities but I didn't get the "happy to serve you- happy to have your business" vibe.  We'll see what she "re-proposes"-- but I haven't received anything back since I talked with her earlier in the week.  I'm doing it all from email too.  Hope this helps!

    Thanks for the feedback girls!

Thanks for your tips....I actually recieved her proposal via email about an hour ago, and you are right, she added some little things here and there, that I don;'t need, but this is just the begnning.  I am going to email her back and see how that goes,  but im going to keep Publix in mind as well!!
