Hello everyone! My wondeful fiance proposed Monday the 5th! We have been together a year and a half and I have known hm for roughly 5 years.
I got home from work and there was a note on our front door. The note said the there was an early christmas present hidden in the house for me..I had to go on a scavenger hunt to find it. he left me three clues which led me to send an email to an email address he had made up. I got an automatic response that said my present was hidden under the tree "he knew I'd never look there" there was a big box under the tree. I opened it and inside was a pair of gloves I had mentioned I wanted ( the ring was on the glove but I missed it) what distracted me was in the box was a box of lasagne noodles..which he had put in there to make noise because I had been shaking my christmas presents (hahaha) I asked him if we were going to make lasagne lol. he told me to look more closly there was more...I then spotted the ring and was in utter and complete shock. I asked if this was for real..if he was joking. he said no then asked if I would marry him. I said yes.. still in shock of course. I knew we would eventually get married but I wasn't expecting it this year. he had purchased the ring in october but kept making comments that he wanted to wait..when my best friend asked him he told her not for a long time...just to throw me off...he wanted it to be a total suprise.
I'm so excited that I get to marry my best friend! One of my girl friends came into town and I eneded up trying on dresses (early I know) I totally fell in love with one. We picked a date October 6th 2012..which could change but we have decided def. on september/october 2012. So much to think about! Any good advice anyone!?
