So my mom and dad bought my wedding shoes which was a big deal for a few reason. First it was a symbol that they accepted I was getting married and giving their approval. Then they were more than I would have ever spent on them if I were buying them. The only problem I had with them was I wanted navy blue shoes. So being the brilliant person that I am I decided to dye them. I have heard all about the whole them dying your feet stuff but I was willing to deal with that. When I took them in the guy warned me that since they were not labeled dyeable there was a risk the dye wouldn't take well.
Seeing how sometimes a bride wants what a bride wants I decided to gamble. I know it is my own fault, please don't remind me that I just said it is my fault.
So being so excited and nervous I went to go pick them up and low and behold it didn't take. It isn't horribly obvious but IDK what to do at all. It takes fine picks it is when you are looking at them closely you notice. I may not decide on what I will do for awhile. I am torn.
On a good note my daughter found her flowergirl dress. It will be ivory. It was important that we had a special day and I let her pick her own out and be excited since we are building a new family. I just want her to continue calling it "our wedding".
