Janesville Area venues

Looking for ceremony and reception venue suggestions around Janesville (Milton, Edgerton and Evansville are good too).  Possibly looking for an outdoor ceremony site.  Been disappointed with what I've seen so fa.  Janesville VFW is very dated but the price is excellent!  Do not want to pay an arm and a leg since this is the 2nd marriage for both of us.

    Are the Rotary Botanical Gardens in Janesville out of the question? Seems like the obvious choice to me.

    The Gathering Place in Milton perhaps?

    There's also tons of low budget places like the Elk's Lodge etc, etc. I've even been to a wedding at the Best Western....

    Rotary gardens may work for the ceremony BUT they will only allow you to move inside due to weather if you have your reception there too.  Cost to rent the hall for reception is $2600.  Gathering place is too small.  Capacity is 140 and we will have 175-200. Elks would be great but you have to be a member and they have a $4000 minimum.  So as you can see I have contacted numerous places but just am not enthused with any of them yet<img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-frown.gif" border="0" alt="Frown" title="Frown" />

    I am in the same area as you. Check out badger farms. It took me like 20 minutes to get there from jnsvl..the prices are great. Indoor and outdoor ceremony options. Hotels close by do free shuttles for guests. And they can fit 200...i believe she said she has done even more than that. Main thing I'd say is go look.... I got a whole different experience checking it out than I expected just off the website. Good luck!
