Visbible Body Piercings

So,  I have an eyebrow piercing. I had wanted it since I was 15, I got it a week after my eighteenth birthday, and have had it for almost 4 years. I love it and had never thought of it in regards to the wedding. But one of my bridesmaid brought up the question as to whether or not I was going to have it in the day of the wedding.

At the moment I think I am going to keep it in because it is a part of me, and it super easy to photoshop out of pictures if I don't like the image it portrays.

Have any of you had this same issue? Did you decide to leave your body jewelry in as well or did you use a retainer? Input on the issue?
And now we are as one

I'm not a fan of those type of piercings, but then again, it's not about me..it's about you!  :)  So with that being said, as long as you and FI are happy with it, don't worry about what anyone else thinks.  That is who YOU are, and it shouldn't have to change because of what others thinks.  Same goes for tats!

if you're doing engagement pics or bridals, leave it in and then make up your mind when you see the pictures. but if it's a part of your identity, i'm in favor of leaving it in.

I'm not a fan of visible body peiercings other than ears- but that's just my opinion.

I think Lewis had a great idea of seeing how you like bridals/epics with it in.And then decide from there.
I think my biggest issue with keeping it in would be this... if you show your kids / grandkids  your wedding picture in 20-30 years would you be happy with the ring. Do you plan on having it forever? Or is it just a "phase". I'm not trying to be ugly, just helping see all sides of the situation.

I have a shoulder tattoo.  It is a part of me...but did I pay to cover it up at my wedding....absolutely.  It is your wedding. If you want to keep it..go for it.  I knew my soon to be husbands family is very conservative so that was a factor in me deciding to cover it up.  Now when we go on vacation at the beach- they all can see my tattoo.  Just not at the wedding.
