Annoyed with RSVPs grrrr

RSVPs are due on Sunday. We've gotten back <1/3 of our response cards. WTF people?!

That is annoying! I haven't had to deal with this yet, but I'm tempted to tell people if they don't tell us they're coming by the deadline we set, there will not be a spot for them. Of course, we won't do that, but from what I've heard from you and other girls on here, I'm surprised at how bad people are about returning the prepaid RSVPs.

yeah, people now a days just kill me. As for mine, if you don't RSVP you don't get on the ship, I have to send the final guest list to Carnival three weeks before the wedding, once they have it, there are not changes aloud, so if they don't RSVP and they come thinking they can get on the ship for the wedding, they are S.O.L.

Sorry ladies for all your troubles about the RSVPs! That is annoying for anyone! My friend put on her facebook reminding people to send her actual RSVPs...and "No replies to this by FB, e-mail, or text. To those I know who are coming for sure, if you have time to check your Facebook...get off it and send your RSVP. Oh and you're getting a vegetarian meal too."

She said it worked. haha.

Yup, had this issue with our AHR...and what was really annoying was that upon contacting people directly, they'd say that they were coming...then we had a bunch of them not even show up (a lot of them were DH's family too!). Being sick or not being able to find a sitter (we had a no-kid reception) is one thing, but to just not show is just rude (or if you know you're not coming, just say so!). And to this day, we still haven't heard anything from any of DH's family...it's just odd.

Plus, we paid for those people to have dinner (and tacked on a few extras just in case)...we had leftover jerk chicken and bbq pork coming out of our a$$es! We calculated that we wasted $300 on the no-shows alone.

Sorry that I vented too...it's just very frustrating...they all deserve a swift kick in the fanny!
