  I have not seen it done but I think that the subtle difference between the BMs and MOH would be very pretty.

  Our colors were not exactly grey, but rather platinum.  It looked elegant and gorgeous on the BMs.

  First of all, great choice of color!

  
  

  I don't like the idea of the MOH wearing a different color though. I think it would make them stand out too much from the wedding party, which is something that you and you alone should be doing. I do, however, like the idea of the entire party wearing slightly different dresses. Like if you have three or more in your party, having sort of an ombre feel to the colors - the MOH next to you wearing the lightest shade, for example, going to the darkest shade at the opposite end of the ladies.

  I had six BMs and they had the choice between eggplant and charcoal. This is how it turned out.

  I think those are very nice colors together...
  I am doing the same thing for my wedding, my MOH is wearing a different color then my BM's. I did it because I have a specific color scheme that I wanted to convey for my wedding. This is you and your fiance's wedding, you can do whatever you want.
