So I think I posted a while back about this past weekend I was going to meet with a new photog. Well after a very interesting Saturday we finally arrived at our Durham meeting he was 1 hour late and we were a whopping 1.5 hours late and soaking WET!! He kept occupied while waiting on us at the MAC store apparently! We met at the Streets at Southpoint.
THank GOD for cell phones apparently he got lost when the road he was on lead him on some wacked detour. But we kept in contact and managed to work it all out!!
We had to pick up a bed set with a friend (hey he offered to drive us to Durham if FI helped him load this bed on the truck!!). We arrive at the place and back the truck up and the bottom drops out of the sky!! So FI and him had to load the headboard, footboard and all the slats and mattress and boxspring in the rain!! I helped but not much and kept inside!
Well being that we were loaded down it took forever to park b/c my friend was having a hard time parking...well all in all we get to the meeting!!
Food was wonderful--we ate at CHAMPS!!!
He was so awesome laid back, the price was just right. I didn't want to make any decisions without talking to FI thoughly so we said we will be in contact PLEASE dont give away our date and we let him kow the sit. with the previous photog. We get home and I tell FI you need to email him asking for the contract and where to send the money! So contract is on the way and our date will be secured before we know it!!
We get 2 photogs 1 girl 1 guy aprox 3K pics all day coverage (there are no hours that limit this its literally all day!) NO travel cost and all images on a DVD in about 4-6 weeks after wedding for 2K. His rate is $1500 but with her we have an extra $500. Oh best part 10% deposit--$200. Woot Woot!!! I'm excited to have found someone way cheaper than I orginally wanted!!!!
Has anyone worked with F5 photography out of Winston? Ross seems pretty awesome, FI got a great vibe and bonus our friend that was with us who has been through the wedding planning process also agreed with us..it was great to have an outsider listen in..they have a less bias opinion!
