Does anyone else feel like a pain in the ass? VENT

My ceremony vendor is dense. It's like pulling teeth to get her to respond to emails, and when she does she gives like two word answers, askes me a question, and when I answer I get like no response.

So I'm confused about the whole ceremony process now. The payments, the rehearsal, the day of, the musician stuff, the decorating (when we can, and what we can do), etc.

I feel like I'm emailing her EVERYDAY and bothering her, but she just won't give me all of the details I need FLAT out so I can leave her alone. AHHH...

I can't wait until I'm done dealing with her because I feel like she hates me. I don't know how anyone else deals with this place.

Spot on. I'm telling you, I've had issue with my venue for a while now for those SAME reasons. I literally mentioned in an email that I was going to suspend my payment until I hear a response bc I want to know my balance with my new additions and...nothing.

Finally FI told me not to threaten them and then ultimately not to deal with them at all, so he and our coordinator or handling it. But dude...I totally feel your pain!!!

I suggest making a list of all your questions, etc. then call and schedule a time to meet in person to hash everything out.

All of this. And yes I had the same sort of issues with communication. So i'm kind of dreading getting in touch with them for the final counts.

Ugh... our coordinator changed, and I swear, if I ask two questions, the new girl answers one. I finally decided to put all my questions in one email and I'll put something like 'If I don't hear back from you by Feb. xyz, I'll give you a call' and then just get her on the phone.

I had this problem... then i threw it off on my wedding planner because I was sick of dealing with it. It was horrible... I swear I went 3 weeks once before getting a response. I agree, I think it's a wedding venue thing. I'm sorry its so bad

I feel like that with my venue and it's annoying. Bottom line though, you're payin them for those services. But I feel ya, I'm ready for the wedding just so I can stop this communication issue.
