I met with one of the moms wasn't that impressed seemed nice . Said she would e-mail a price list haven't heard from her and was charged $42.50. So ladies beware wasn't impressed.

    Wha?  What a minute...

    You were charged to sit down with a vendor and inquire about their services?  I would have laughed in their face and they would never see my 42 bucks!  That's crazy!

    Bee for the Day tried to do this to me, too.  I called to inquire about their services, spent a good 45 minutes on the phone asking questions about what type of services they offered.  She sent me a contract that said, if I signed, their fee started from that first initial phone call.  No thanks!!!

    Yes I was had I met her at the "superbowl of bridal shows" I can't believe I went there  I was told that the money would be taken off of her services. After we met and I saw the work I knew I wasn;t going to use her. Lesson learned! I don't want to get into our conversation but it wasn't great. She traveled to me but I won't do that again. She tried to get me to use stuff she had, went back on her word and I caught her in let's just say not being so honest.

    That is unbelievable.....no vendor should charge you to meet with them to discuss their services.  I know there are other wedding planners in Toledo that do NOT charge for the initial consultation.....like Your Perfect Day.

    Did you already give her the money?  Unless you were informed in advance that it would be a paid consultation, I wouldn't have given her a cent.

    I knew I had to pay but I didn't think she would not have all of her stuff together. She also said if I used her the money would go toward the bill so I didn't think much about it. It wasn't worth the money but you live and learn.
