Hair

So, I currently have caramel highlights going throughout my hair which I really like, my issue is that my roots are showing so bad right now.  I am trying to hold-off as long as I can to get it touched up because I dont want to do it too soon and have them showing again for the wedding.  When do you think will be a perfect time to do it???

I'm getting my highlights done the week of the wedding.  My hair is long so my stylist has to use double the amount of solution she normally uses on someone so it gets costly for me.

Last time I had them done was April, so my roots won't be too bad.  I'm also blonde so my roots aren't too noticeable until it really starts growing out.

If they're REALLY bad I don't see the harm in maybe getting a small touch-up.  If you have nothing else really going on prior to the wedding then hold off until it's closer to your date.

  • Yea, I think I am going to do that.  I got it done in April, too...but my hair is naturally really dark, so its crazy noticeable.

  • I have quite a bit of gray hair around my face that's noticeable when I have my hair pulled back.  I'm getting highlights 2 weeks before the wedding to cover them. I figured it's enough time to fix it if I don't like it and for me to get used to it.

  • I am getting my highlights done July 12 (wedding July 28).  It always takes a week or so for my hair color to "settle" (maybe that's just how long it takes for me to get used to it??) but that seemed like a good timeframe for me!
