It was ridiculously windy for our shoot, so pardon the crazy hair. Our shoot was about an hour long. I'm suprised we got as many pictures in as we did. My cousin was very fun to work with.

The 'better together' ones are my favorite. I saw it on someones bio over in the DIY board and had to steal it.

Oh and the silly ones are totally spontaneous. My FI decided to pick me up and spin me around and the bottom ones were right before and after he did.

Thank you! I love it too. When I picked it out my FI was a little suprised. He thought it was to plain, but I think the little details make all the difference.

Honestly, I have no idea! I'm kind of thinking a plain platinum band with a little bit cut out so it sits snug against the ring. Or a half eternity band in diamonds like the sapphire is on the side I have looked into the bands that curve and straight ones, but I don't really like how any of them sit against it.

If I did the diamond band, I'm thinking it would kind of look like MotoLyn's (?) ring? Where it is cut out in the middle with the same side design. Don't really know how to explain it.

First your e-pics are too cute and you guys just shine through the pictures. Luv them! Second here is the visual aid. My e-ring and the matching wedding band. FI and I discussed that for traveling he's going to design a wedding band for me using CAD software that will have the wavy lines that you can see from the sides cut into a simple band, then have a jeweler make it. So I can wear it when we travel to places that I don't comfy wearing the wedding set.

I think that a matching wedding band that has a cut out for your stone would look gorgeous.

Yay! Thank you, MotoLyn! That sounds like a good idea. I'm having a hard time deciding if I want a band that will go with my engagement ring or one that I can wear by itself if needed. I may have to go with your idea and get a simple silver band for cases like that.

I kind of wish we could have gotten her in more pictures than we did. After we did several with her we started doing different ones and kind of forgot about her :(

Oh well. We have a great one with her in it and dogs can make pictures even harder to get right!

It seems like everyone is looking at the big set with 289 pictures in it. That is fine, but there is a smaller set of 17 if you reopen the link after you put in the password, for those of you who don't feel like looking at all of them.

Yay! Honestly, I am not a big fan of the jewelery making process. I get so frustrated while I am making it. But after I finish, I look back on it and am very happy I did it. It's kind of a love-hate relationship.
