I've been searching for a photographer for over a month now (I feel like I've looked at about 100 in the Seattle area) and I'm getting so frustrated I can't seem to find one who does the kind of work I'm looking for, who I click with, and who is within our budget. Many of the photographers we've met only have about a year or two of experience. We're looking for someone with a bit more experience.
After reading many rave reviews for Jenny GG on this forum, she was initially a front runner in our search. However, I decided her style isn't exactly what I'm going for. Then I fell in love with Yvonne Wong's work but ultimately decided that it had too much of the dreamy quality I was looking for and some photos were just too washed out and overexposed.
Here's what I'm looking for: a combination of photos that are vibrant, colorful, crisp, and clear with great candid, emotional shots, indoor PM shots that are warm and not overly "flash", and some photos with a dreamy, ethereal quality to them.
The thing that comes to mind are Estee Lauder ads. I'd like to keep it under 4k, 3k preferably.
Can you gals think of anyone? Am I crazy? Is this not going to happen? Perhaps I should bite the bullet and go with Azzura?
