I tried on so many dresses - probably in the neighborhood of 40
When I tried on my dress, it felt different, but I didn't purchase it right away. I went home and slept on it b/c I was waffling between the one I purchased and another @ the same store (same designer). I went back the next day, tried it on again and bought it.
I found my dress yesterday, i was in love with a Maggie Sottero tried it on last week and thought i was in love, so i took my mother yesterday tried it on again and realized i wasn't sure, so we asked if there was something similar, I tried on a different Maggie in a style i didn't think i wanted and fell in LOVE! So, i slept on it last night and we just put the down payment on it. It takes a while but you'll find it. Not everyone bursts onto tears, but i can tell you i DIDN'T want to take it off!
I had pulled 6 dresses at a shop, and mine ended up being the second one I tried on that day. I continued to try on all of the others, but put mine back on pretty much in between every one. We left to go have lunch, but I knew as soon as I walked out that I had to go back and order it.
I tried on about 9 dresses total. The ONE was the 5th one I tried on at Bride Beautiful. As i was being laced up, I kept saying how beautiful it was and I just knew. It was the first dress I could see myself walking down the aisle in and yes, I did get a little emotional. I went to lunch and had another appointment elsewhere, but nothing compared so, I went back and ordered it. I saved $155 by ordering it that day since they had $100 off and it was the tax holiday.
I went to David's Bridal just to look, was not planning on buying at all. I tried on about 6 dresses, the dress I choose was #5. I was smiling ear to ear before I even saw it in the mirror. It fit perfectly, was incredibly comfortable, simple but beautiful. I kept trying on my second choice and my final choice over and over. The other dress was beautiful, but my final dress was perfect and all ME!! I knew, just had to try on the other over and over just to make sure. I ordered my dress that day.
